Novel Noninvasive Assessment of Nonalcoholic Steatohepatitis Response to Bariatric Surgery
    UCD CTSC
    Role: co-PI
Description: Combined fecal, plasma, and imaging biomarkers may serve as novel modalities to assess the severity of nonalcoholic fatty liver disease and its response to bariatric surgery. These diagnostic modalities can potentially be scaled for clinical use, filling a critical an unmet clinical need.
Sex Differences in Response to Bariatric Surgery
    SAGES
    Role: PI
Description: The goal of this study is to find whether there are specific microbiome and metabolomic profiles that differentiate outcomes after bariatric surgery in men versus women

(Note that publications are often cited in additional ways that are not shown here.) Fields are based on how the National Library of Medicine (NLM) classifies the publication's journal and might not represent the specific topic of the publication. Translation tags are based on the publication type and the MeSH terms NLM assigns to the publication. Some publications (especially newer ones and publications not in PubMed) might not yet be assigned Field or Translation tags.) Click a Field or Translation tag to filter the publications.
